Abstract

The purposes of research were to study personnel administration and compare the state of personnel administration in basic education secondary Schools of Chachoengsao education service area office 1. Population for the study were 43 school administrators and 276 teachers. The tools of research were the constructed questionnaires and used for data collection. The collected data were analyzed by means of percentage and standard deviation and One–Way Analysis of Variance was used to test the significant differences at 0.05 level.

                      The research findings were as follows:   

1. Personnel administration of the basic educational  as a whole were at a hight level. When considering each category of Personnel administration, the study showed that manpower planning and job specification, recruitment and replacement efficient work promotion and whereas discipline were at a high level and retirement was at a moderate level.

                      2.The results compare the conditions of administrators and teachers about personnel administration in basic education by gender, education, experience, location did not differ statistically significant at the 0.05 level.

                      3. The results compare the conditions of administrators and teachers about personnel management in basic education by sized schools age, differences statistically significant at the 0.05 level administrators and teachers aged 51 years or more. opinions about the personnel administration less administrators and teachers at age 50 years down and school administrators and teachers in large schools have opinions about human resource administration less than teachers in small and medium-sized schools.
