The research entitled " The Role on Social Development of Sangha Administrators in Pathumthani Province " aimed: i) to study the role on social development of Sangha Administrators in Pathumthani Province; ii) to comparative study the role on social development of Sangha Administrators in Pathumthani Province; and iii) to study problems and suggestions in the role on social development of Sangha Administrators in Pathumthani Province. It is the Survey Research of which data collection has been used by questionnaires for the sampling group of 201 Sangha Administrators. The gathered data were analyzed by using statistical techniques for sociological methodology such as Frequencies, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation, t-test, F-Test (One Way Analysis of Variance), also Least Significant Different (e:LSD) with statistical significance at .05.
The findings of the study are as follows:
1) The most of 201 Sangha Administrators completed the Dhamma Eak at 41.29%, the Pali 1-2 and 3 at 46.77%, common education below Bachelor of Art at 72.14%, the number of years in monkhood below 11 years at 54.73, being novices and common monks at 86.07%, additionally, staying in the monastery lest than 6 years at 53.23.
2) The Sangha Administrators’ opinions in the role on social development of Sangha Administrators in Pathumthani Province were totally on good level. Considering each aspect, it had been found that all were on good level, too.
3) Having been analyzed by classification of Dhamma Study, Pali Study, General Education, number of years in monkhood, Sangha Ranking and number of years in monastery, it had been found that the differences on general education and number of years in monastery result different opinion at the level of 0.05. Meanwhile, the remaining aspects result no difference.
4) Suggestion: some Sangha Administrators had no understanding about Economy. They should be trained in economy in order to pass to people correctly.
