The objectives of this research were 1) To study the role of promoting the Way of Life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. 2) To compare the role of promoting the Way of Life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province., and classified by personal factors, 3) To study the suggestions of the role of promoting the Way of Life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. The research used mixed research both quantitative research and qualitative research. The sampling population are the 356 residents of the 3,259 total population whom are less than 20 years old in Mae Tha Chang Sub - District, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province by questionaire. The methodology used Taro Yamane formula. Data were analyzed by using a computer program for social science research. The data analysis were comprised of frequency, percentage, statistics, analysis and opinion on the role of promoting the Way of Life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. The statistics were composed of the frequencies, Mean and Standard Deviation for describing and testing hypotheses by the personal factors. The t-test results were the differences between the two groups. F-test was done by means of analyzing, One Way ANOVA to test the difference of Means from the three groups upward. The test of the differences Means in each pair was done by the Least Significant Difference : LSD. The qualitative research method used the in-depth interview with the key informants and collaborating the context by the content analysis technique.
The research findings were as follows:
1) The role of promoting the way of life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province was opined by the Public opinion overall in the high level ( =3.58), and considering the high level found in every aspect. Only the aspect of the immunization of the economy was found moderate level. An average of descending order was the aspect of creation and development of the group ( =3.78), the aspect of the development of collaborative networks in performing sufficient economic concept ( =3.68), the aspect of promotion of new agricultural theory ( =3.54), and the aspect of immunity of the economy ( =3.32).
2) The comparison of the sample’s opinion on the role of promoting the way of life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province classified by personal factors, i.e. gender, age, education, occupation, and income average per year found that people with gender, age, education level has no different opinion on the role of promoting the way of life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. Whereas the population who had different income and positions was found different opinion in the significance at level 0.05.
3) The suggestions about the role of promoting the way of life on sufficient economy philosophy of executives of Mae Tha Chang Sub - District Administrative Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province found that executives administrative organization should be encouraged public participation in planting vegetables, herbs, non-toxic and transforming agricultural production. Regarding to giving an opportunity to the public, Hang Dong people should be perform and participate in the aspect of promote economic sustainability, public relations, and performed the awareness campaign for public participation in environmental issues, especially garbage collection in the community. Regarding to the King’s doctrine, the executives should establish the Learning Center including the activities related to promote New Theory of agriculture continuously, training prevention of diseases and insect pests of rice to the public, providing community health center, supporting public savings in all aspects, and also managing the exhibition of the distribution of One Tambon One Product (OTOP) continuously.
