The Learning for Developing self According the princ of Ti-Sikkha: A Case Study of Buddhadasa Bhikkhu

Abstract

 This thesis is of 3 main purposes namely:- 1. to study the learning for self development according  to the principle of the Threefold. 2. to study Ven. Phra Buddhadasa Bhikkhu’s biography in learning for self-development. 3 to study the practice development himself, according to the principles of Buddhist Threefold Training taught b y himself.

      The learning for self development according to the principles of Ti-Sikkha :- Sila, Samadhi and Panna. These are of the relationship with 4 Ariyasaccas and Atthangika-magge, the Eightfold Noble Path which brings one to Nibbana. It can also be said that it’s a good way of leading the good life.  It could be said that Ti-Sikkha causes the mind to be free and to extinguish all the sufferings. These three principles are of the highest advantage.

                  To study Ven. Buddhadas Bhikkhu’s learning development when he was a monk. He finished his study of  Pali Three.  His knowledge if Pali was based on the studying of Tripitaka. Besides, he was able to catch up the practice of himself on 5 sides :-1. The scriptures 2. The practice of the Dhammas 3. The spreading of the Dhammas and the making of the Media in teaching the 4 composition of the texts 5. The search for the text .  These 5 items also support the  development of Sila, Samadhi of the habit and Panna. Besides, this point his onw habit can be compared with l5 sides.

      The practice for development Tisakkha is of 3 tupes:- Sila, Samadhi and Panna.On the Sila Ven, Buddhadasa Bhikkhu preserved every item of Vinys and Abhisamacariya consisting of 8 parikkhara. He observed Dhutangas to get rid of the defilements. Sud Dhutanyas are the usage of the yellow robes, the oing round for alms and the Dhutangas regarding the living in the forest. Ven. Pha Buddhadasa Bhikkhu observed the Sila, strictly .  He also practiced Samadhi strictly and made a note about the practice of Samadhi. Regarding the wisdom, he practiced 3 items, namely:-

Anapanassatibhavana, Vipasanabhavana, and Dhammapatipada.

Ven phra Buddhadasa set up his mental view,when he began to build the Suan MoKKha temple.
