Abstract

      The objectives of this research were:- 1) to study the transformational leadership in accordance with Buddha Dhamma of Sañgha administrators in Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province. 2) to compare the transformational leadership in accordance with Buddha Dhamma of Sañgha administrators in Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province by classifying on the personal factors, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions for the transformational leadership in accordance with Buddha Dhamma of Sañgha administrators in Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province.

This research applied the Mixed Methods Research consisting of the qualitative and qualitative research. The sample was 263 monks at Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province from the sampling table of Taro Yamane. The tools of the research were questionnaire and in-depth interview from the key informants. The analysis of data used Statistical Package for Social Science. The statistic for analysis data used Frequencies, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, F-test with One way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference : LSD

Results of the Research

1. Overall, the opinion the monks towards the transformational leadership  in accordance with Buddha Dhamma of Sañgha administrators in Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province at the hight level (  = 3.62). When considering each aspect Samvara-padhãna (  = 3.66),  Pahãna-padhãna  ( =3.63),  Bhãvanã-padhãna

(  = 3.57), Anurakkhanã-padhãna (  = 3.63), it was found that the opinion of the monks towards the desirable leadership of Sañgha Administrative monks at Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province at the high level in all aspects.

2. The result of the comparison of the opinion of the sample towards the desirable leadership of Sañgha Administrative monks at Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province found that the sample having the different age, different year degree, Dhamma education, degree of Palĩ education and General education had no the different the opinion towards the desirable leadership of Sañgha Administrative monk at Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province.

3. The problems, obstacles and suggestions for the transformational leadership in accordance with Buddha Dhamma of Sañgha administrators in Muang Phetchabun District, Phetchabun Province were that 1) some monks had no discipline and reasons in the sangka  adminstrotion clearly. 2) some monks had the want with the pawer, greed and  corruption, 3) some monks had no understanding in the role and hold on to the old a administrators Moreover, 4) some monks  did not follow the works. The suggestions were  that  1)  the Sangka  adminstrotion should set  the discipline  reasonably in the  adminstrotions, 2) The monks should  omit the wont, 3) the monks should make the understanding in the roles and promote the Sañgha activities. Moreover, 4) the monks should follow the work continuously.
