ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were 1) to study the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province 2) to compare the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province 3) to study problems, obstacles and suggestions the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province, 4. ) the main character. periodontal find new civilizations to promote the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province. The research by Mixed Methods, population and sample are people who are electors of 12,945 people. Random sample by using the formula of sample size of Taro Yamane is the sample size is 388, and data were collected using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the statistical package for the social science to find the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation to describe general information. And test the hypothesis by t-test and F-test with one-way ANOVA, when found to be different, so different test by way of finding the least significant difference. In the part of an open-ended questions that show the problems and recommendations, the researcher are grouping according to the issues set forth in open-ended questionnaires, then to analyze frequency. And information from inter views, and data from interviews the researcher will gather data on the essence of the interview, and then content analyzed.
The findings of this research are as follows:
1. The overall the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province, was found at the total median that medium levels ( =3.12).
2. The result of comparison of the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province, classified by personal factors, revealed that sex and age had no significant differences, thus rejecting the formulated hypotheses, While occupation, level of education and income had significant differences at 0.01 level of confidence, therefore, accepting the set hypotheses.
3. Problems and obstacles of the People’s Participation in The Making of Pasak Sub-District Development Plan, Muang District, Lamphun Province, indicated that people should have participated in thinking and decision determined in planning for development of community to solve the problem of sub-district administrative organization, people should participate in adjusting to administration of working and checking of administration of sub-district administrative organization, tools for occupation should be provided, people should have a chance to participate and check the budget usage and the evaluation of plan of sub-district administrative organization.
4. The Interview results found key informant mainly are focusing A major focus of efforts have mainly focused on working with organizations and networks in the community. With consultation and exchange of learning together every month regularly through to the present. Join the staff working proactively with the community. Establishment of the Community Committee So-called Exchange participants learns to plan their work with the community. Projects and networks The local leaders, community leaders, village, or working with the public sector. And the private sector to achieve the network, working with communities.
