Abstract

Abstract

The study included 3 objectives: 1)to study mental factors developed as personality prediction senses; 2) to study the principles and methods of constructing
a metal factor assessment; and 3) to construct a metal factor assessment model for
predicting meditation practitioners. The study was a mixed method between a qualitative research and quantitative research. The qualitative research collected data from Theravada Buddhist texts and theories of Personality psychology. The study of information from the Theravada Buddhist scriptures and integrated into the theory of personality psychology, using the content analysis to manage collected data. The quantitative research used a metal factor assessment to collect data from 276 respondents and used a ready made Computer program to analyze collect data and to prove the hypotheses of the study.

Results of the study were as follows:

                  1. In respect of a study of mental factors developed as personality prediction senses it found that mental factors were important elements to compound the mind as wholesome, unwholesome and neutral ones. As a result, the mental factors were developed to six senses  stimulating the body to expose behaviors as a personality. The personality of a person could be classified into 6 main categories: 1) the greed- personality; 2) the hatred-based personality; 3) the based ignorance based
personality; 4) the wisdom-based personality; 5) the faith-based personality; and 6) the fear-based personality, which manifested in the set of 84 questions.

                  2. With regards to the principles and methods of constructing a metal factor assessment it revealed that meditation practitioners' personality included
1) the greed-based personality = 6.46; 2) the hatred-based personality = 9.70; 3) the ignorance-based personality = 5.05; 4) the wisdom-based personality = 5.55; 5) the faith-based personality = 6.94; and 6) the fear-based personality =2.60 which were based on unreliable estimates with regression values between – 0.02 and 1.06, and related to correlation coefficients from the Cronbach's alpha coefficient = .843 of the mental factor assessment.

                  3. Regarding the construction of a metal factor assessment model for predicting meditation practitioners it found that it was the construction from the set of questions related to variables and a mental factor model based by analyzing the model and the linear model based on the empirical data with the coefficient of homogeneity of the model was .919, RFI = .875, PGFI = .533, RMSEA = .036 It indicated that the reliability of the data was consistent with the empirical data, statistical tools for screening, and personality predictability. As a result, it could be applied for practitioners' personality development in the wider society.

                  The consistency check was found to be consistent with the following statistics: (χ2) = 58.461, P = .058, Ratio = .1.360, GFI = .966, IFI = .977, AGFI =. 939, CFI = .976, NFI = .919, RFI = .875 , PGFI = .533, RMSEA = .036

The conclusion is that. That means. The level of consistency is high. If it is high. It confirms that the factor evaluates can be apply to predict personality of the meditator.
