The thesis  is of three objectives, namely : (1) to study  the gratefulness  behaviors   possessed   by   Mathayomsuksa  2  students  towards   their  parents at  Taweethapisek   School,  Bangkokyai   District, Bangkok.  (2) to   comparatively   study    the   Gratefulness  behaviors  possessed by Mathayomsuksa 2 Students towards their parents. (3) to study the  recommendations   of  the  way  to  cultivate   the  gratefulness   behaviors  to  be  possessed  by  Mathayomsuksa  2   Students  towards  their  parents  at  Taweethapisek   School,  Bangkokyai   District,   Bangkok.  

                      This  study  is  a  survey  research.  The  exemplary  groups  include  the  high  school

students  of  Mathayomsuksa 2, of  250.  The tools used  in  this  research are the   questionnare of 

the   rating  scale  In  this  research,  the  analysis  of  the  Data  carried  out  by  finading   out  the 

frequency,  the  average,   the  standard  deviation,  the  value  F-test,  the  one - way   analysis   of  

variance  and  comparision  of  the  difference  of  pairs  with  LSD (Least Square Difference Method).  

From  the   research, it is  found that.

1.  Regarding  their  beliefs  about  the  Buddhism  are  generally  at  the  level  of  the best  agreement  with   gratefulness   as  the  mark  of  good  persons.   

2.  Regarding the behavior of gratefulness   towards   their  parents, it is found  that 

most   of   the  students  are  gonerally  of  the  levels  of   behavior  in  conducticting   their   lives 

with  gratefulness  towards  their  parents  at  the  over  all  lovels.

3.  The   students   of   different   family  stata   are   of  the  different   behaviors   of    

gratefulness     towards    their    parents.    The   students   of   different   ages   are   of    different 

gratefulness.    The  students   whose   state  of   living   in   the   family   are  different  are  of  not 

different   behavior   on   every  side  the  fact  of  which  is  not  according   to   the  assumptions.  

The    students    whose    parents    are    of    different    accupations    are    of    the     indifferent   

behavior  of  gratefulness  in  every  aspect.  The  students  who  believe  in  different   reheigions 

are   generally  of  the  different   behavior of  gratefulness  towards their parents   statistically  at 

the  level of  0.05.

4.  From  the  idea, the suggestion  and  the way  to found  the  belief in the  gratefulness  in  Buddhism, it  is  found  that  most  of  the    students   go  to  the  temple, make merits, offer  alms  in  the  monks   begging  bowls, listen  to  the  Dhamma  and  spread  Buddhism.  At  the  later  step, they  are  good  persons  and  grateful  to  their  gratefulness  to  their  parents  inceuding  the  benefitial  persons.  In  founding  the  behavior  of   gratefulness towards    their    parents,  it  is  found  that  most  of  the  students  help  their    parents  to  do  some  works  with  pleasure  and  repay  their    parents   goodness  the  fact  of which  will  parent  to  be  pleased  and  happy  and  finally  will not  make  them regret
